Plenty of the Toronto Maple Leafs end of season screen caps are circulating around. What I find amusing is Phil Kessel’s style of fashion. Phil looks exactly like the guy who you find on the walls of American Eagle and make snide comments. But it works on Phil Kessel absolutely perfectly.
And that makes him more fantastic. Despite his ticks, his various face touching, and his same monotonous tone of voice, you find him funny and irreverent. That’s the complete opposite feeling you get of the ‘Sup, my name is OC. I don’t surf, but my clothes make me hip and laid-back you East Coast hipster wannabe’ models of Abercrombie & Fitch.
Thanks for another fun year, Phil Kessel. Keep scoring those goals and making awkward look cool.
